Give Thanks for this is the Will of God If you are reading this post it confirms that God has given you yet another day to live your life all over again. Now that's something to be thankful for, right?! Every breathe that we breathe was given to us because of His love, grace and mercy. No one on this planet is promised tomorrow so we must count another day as a true gift from God.
We are reminded in scripture to give thanks in all things as this is God's will for us (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Take the time to remember the Lord and thank Him for what He has given and provided for you. The word of God tells us that every good and perfect gift comes from Him (James 1:17). Yesterday, I was gifted with a new King James Version Study Bible and it's so rich with His love for mankind, His will, plan of redemption, healing, and so much revelation; I love reading it. Because it's a study bible I am learning so much. I listened to the audio bible before I received this study bible, but there is something about reading this study bible. There is so much understanding and revelation! Did you know the first 4 people Jesus called to follow him were brothers? Andrew and Peter (Simon) were both brothers and James and John were brothers. Well that's another story all together, but for this post the study bible I received is beautiful, but more importantly, it's a clear roadmap to follow, obey, and honor the Lord by living a life that is pleasing to Him.

“Freely ye have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8)
Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. With much love - jz What were you created to do in this lifetime? What talents and abilities has God gifted you with? Surely there are things that you find yourself doing that you love to do and are just so passionate about. What are those things?
The talents and abilities I am talking about is that 'natural' ability to be able to do something without much effort at all. It's what you love to do and you're really good at doing it. You see, God gave us talents to be used for His purposes. His purpose is far more greater than getting a pat on the back and being told 'you are so talented!' That greater purpose is tied into what you're supposed to do here on the earth that will impact the lives of others forever. I want to challenge you today to ask God what He has purposed for YOU to do. He will show you. Do what you love, love what you do, and do it with the greatest intention. I can assure you then, and only then, will your heart be at peace. With much love - jz |
